- Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been Nominated for the Barclays Women's Super League October Save of the Month award.
 - The 24-year-old currently boasts a league-leading average of 4.0 saves per game for Brighton & Hove Albion.

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has earned a nomination for the Barclays Women's Super League’s October Save of the Month following her outstanding performance in Brighton's tight 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on 5th October.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper showcased her world-class ability throughout the contest, despite her side suffering a narrow defeat.
Her standout moment, which earned the prestigious nomination, came in the 55th minute. Nnadozie displayed textbook goalkeeping, making an expert mid-air dive to brilliantly push away Eveliina Summanen’s fierce, goal-bound free-kick from approximately 30 yards out.
Her heroics, however, were not limited to that moment. In the 12th minute of play, the reigning CAF women's goalkeeper of the year proved her quality by denying Tottenham's Jess Naz, who sent a dangerous curling left-footed effort towards goal.

Following the restart, the Nigerian international continued to frustrate the opposition attack. Shortly after making the Save of the Month nominated stop, she denied England international Bethany England at the front post in the 56th minute.
In the dying minutes of the game, with Brighton pressing for an equaliser, Nnadozie showed impeccable reflexes once more in the 80th minute, saving Toko Koga’s poked effort from just outside the six-yard box.
Since joining Brighton from Paris FC in July, she has accumulated 2 clean sheets in 6 league games, making a remarkable 24 saves in total. Her average of 4.0 saves per game is marginally bettered only by Leicester City's Jenina Leitzig who averages 4.8 saves per game.
Nnadozie faces competition for the recognition from Manchester United's Phallan Tullis-Joyce, Arsenal's Daphne Van Domselaar, Everton's Emily Ramsey and Leicester City's Jenina Leitzig.
The goalkeeper, who recently ranked 4th in the 2025 Women's Yashin Trophy for the Balon d'Or, is currently on international duty with the Super Falcons as they prepare for their return leg fixture against Benin Republic on tuesday.
